SFR wanted to provide an appropriate response to the growing market of Application Stores and Mobile Embedded Applications, and enable mobile commerce services over its network.

Application Stores of mobile handset manufacturers and platforms such as Nokia, Samsung, RIM, Microsoft Windows Mobile, Google Android should be able to make use of SFR Direct Billing for payment of applications and in-app purchases.

Solution

Netsize provided SFR with a fully managed hosted Direct Billing platform solution and API, that enables SFR to accomodate third party application stores and commercial services providers. Netsize also developed all related integrations and specific online reporting tools for service management and end-user care.

Results

The Direct Billing solution has given SFR a lead over their competition in the French market, in terms of project turnaround time, billing success rate and end-user experience.
